The Albatroz HotelThe Albatroz Hotel

We're Closed

The Albatroz Hotel is temporary closed for a refurbishment project.

Located in the bay of Cascais, The Albatroz Hotel is closed from January 8th to May 2019, for a new phase of rooms and common spaces renovation. The refurbishment project is in charge of Graça Viterbo design's company and will cover the main spaces of the Hotel such as the restaurant, Bar, lounge, and reception. In order to continue to offer a quality service for which it has always been recognized, The Albatroz Hotel sees this phase as positive for the future.

Until then our team is working from 9 a.m to 6 p.m (GMT) accepting new reservations and inquiries.

Since the '60s (when it opened for the first time with the name 'Estalagem Albatroz') the Hotel has been continuously renovating the historic building of the XIX century. Built by the Duke of Loulé, under the project of the architect Luis Pedro d'Ávila, in 1873, the Hotel Albatroz (former Palace of the Dukes of Loulé) was one of the first luxury villas built by the nobility families in Cascais in order to accompany the royal family during the summer.

On a conceptual level, renovations aim to bring the best of the surrounding landscape into the Palacete, while retaining its historic and refined architecture with the ambiance of a luxurious beach chalet.

Between neutrais tones and marine elements, the main spaces will be the combination of a luxurious atmosphere with vintage details, in the style of the portuguese nobility.

Visit the Hotel in May 2019, to visit its renovated spaces and contemplate the wonderful landscape on the Atlantic Ocean - a true seaside retreat.
