The passion of a French chef joins with the emblematic Palácio Albatroz in Cascais to make it his creative space with its doors open to the world. Named “Le Café Albatroz - Chef's Atelier”, this is more than a simple gourmet space – it is a gastronomic experience that includes a Shop, Ice cream Shop, Chocolate maker, Pastry shop, and a kitchen, by the hands of the executive chef of The Albatroz Hotel Frederic Breitenbucher and the pastry chef Carlos Pinto.
At Le Café Albatroz - Chef's Atelier it is possible to purchase snacks, light meals, salads, snacks, sweets, pastries, chocolates, natural juices, wines, cheeses, and the best takeaway dishes ranging from starters, meat dishes, fish dishes, vegetarian dishes, desserts, etc. The Menu is always adjusted to seasonal products.

Albatroz Palace
Le Café Albatroz - Chef's Atelier is located in the amazing Palácio Albatroz in Cascais (initially known as Casa de D. António de Lancastre - name of the first owner). With a privileged location facing the sea and Conceição beach, this Palace was built in the 20th century and maintains its Italian architectural style. It is still locally known as “the house with the yellow roof”.
Le Café Albatroz - Chef's Atelier refurbishment project was in charge of the Portuguese architect João Tiago Aguiar - João Tiago Aguiar Arquitectos. From an architectural point of view, light, functionality, and space were the main keywords, which resulted in a fluid, lively and harmonious space, allowing a wide discovery of all available products while maintaining the design and traditional Palace' architectural style.
